Easter online learning

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you so much for the fantastic support you have given to your children and the school staff over the last two weeks.

Please contact the school office via email if you are having problems accessing Tapestry or Google Classroom and we will try to help. Most of the problems so far have been about logins and access or saving/uploading work and these are often easy to solve. If you or your child has yet to engage with the classwork set by the class teacher, please have a look and feel free to use any of the work which has been set as it will stay on the sites but be organised by weeks.

From Monday, and over the two weeks of the Easter holiday, teachers will not set daily work or be available to mark activities or give instant feedback. They will set longer term activities, projects, experiments, investigations or research/reading tasks which can then be handed in after the break. Teachers may also provide links to relevant websites for children to keep occupied.

In the summer term, we intend to focus very much on times tables and to make sure that as many of the children in KS2 know up to x12 as possible. Accessing Times Table Rock Stars over the holidays would really benefit your child.

On Monday 20th April, Tapestry and Google Classroom will return to normal timetabled daily work with teachers again available during school hours to support.
