Welcome to Drake Primary School's Data Protection Page!

At Drake Primary School we understand the importance of safeguarding personal data and ensuring the privacy of our students, staff, parents and other stakeholders.  This page gives you information about how we handle, protect and process your personal data in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

On this page, you will find details about the types of personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights in relation to your data. We have implemented robust security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss of personal information.

Transparency is a key principle guiding our data protection practices. Photographs and Videos
We will let you know if/when it is okay for parents and carers to take photographs and videos at school events.

These must be for personal use only.  These should not be posted on social media.

Not all parents want images of their children to be shared online. There may be personal, religious or safeguarding reasons why not.  As a school, we respect the rights of children and their families to have privacy, we hope you will support us in doing so.

Thank you for entrusting Drake Primary School with your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your data is handled with the utmost respect and security.

Please see the Policies page for the Data Protection Policy.
