Black History Month
We are working to ensure that our curriculum is rich in its diversity, featuring a full range of important people. In October, we take extra time to celebrate the lives, work and legacy of important Black people. These people were woven into the work children were doing in class, celebrated in assemblies and incorporated into displays around the school. We also launched our new community Art project inspired by the work of Angelica Dass, and Ancient House Museum put on a zoom presentation for our pupils about Dr. Allen Minns who was the first Black mayor in England.
