What it's like to work at Drake...

"I am thoroughly enjoying my time at Drake so far. I have found SLT far more supportive than at previous schools and have also found the SENDCo much more involved and aware of challenges. I have found that all staff are happy and willing to help, and it feels like part of a team. The school values definitely shine through in the actions of all staff which is lovely to see."

"Having worked in many different schools and in various roles in my school career, I’ve found working at Drake Primary School one of the most positive experiences. All staff are treated with respect and if you have a difficult situation there is always someone to support you, however big or small the problem. It’s a great team effort to meet all the children’s needs and include the children with additional needs. The assistant heads of both key stages have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. The headteacher always has time to listen and really cares about the staff and children. Best of all-the children are great: enthusiastic, funny, eager and polite! All-in-all, a great school to be part of! Thank you for helping me find my passion again!"
