The warmer weather is here and the pandemic feels like it is firmly behind us in our normal lives :)

As a governing body we have ZERO vacancies and I am encouraged and excited by the commitment, experience and skills which have been added to our membership. This Summer term should promise a huge increase in governor monitoring in all statutory and additional areas of school including:

• The curriculum and specific subjects
• Schemes & extra curricular opportunities that the school subscribe to such as Food for Life, which enhance the health & wellbeing of the school community
• Post pandemic catch up notwithstanding standard progress and attainment including our school's 1st ever KS2 SATS data

Governors are committed to working with Local Authority partners as the Specialist Resource Base project gets (physically) underway, including scrutinising service level agreements and monitoring SEND funding.

Look out for Governors' Annual Newsletter later in the term, which will detail further information on what the governing body has achieved and ensured over this recovery year.
