This term, Year 5 enjoyed an exciting trip to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge as part of their theme of Life and Death. Working with a museum educator, the children had the opportunity to explore fascinating objects from ancient Egyptian tombs, including learning about the impressive sarcophagus of Rameses III. They were captivated by the artefacts from life thousands of years ago. The class also had time to wander through some of the museum’s art galleries, where they admired a wide range of artwork from around the world.
