  • South Angle Farm

This week, Reception had a fantastic time visiting South Angle Farm! The excitement started the moment we got on the coach -  for many of the children, just being on a coach again was an adventure in itself, with plenty of singing and laughter along the way!

At the farm, we met a wonderful variety of animals. The children wowed us (and the farm staff!) with their brilliant knowledge about herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. We were so proud of their confidence and curiosity - especially when it came to meeting some of the more unusual animals. There were snakes gently wrapping around arms, bunnies hopping onto laps, and children bravely feeding goats and alpacas.

The farm staff repeatedly praised how kind and respectful our children were towards the animals, really showing our school values in action.

Leonardo said, “It was the best trip ever because I didn’t even know all those animals existed!”
Rue added, “I thought I was scared of snakes, but they’re so soft and kind!”

A brilliant day full of learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories!
