We have been learning all about plants. We explored how water travelled through the stem of celery in xylem tubes.

We undertook an observation over time with some pansy plants, and discussed how we could make it a fair test by controlling variables (sunlight, water, temperature and soil). 

We dissected a tulip to find out about the parts of a flower: stamen (anther and filament) and the stigma.
