The children explored changes in the weather through a simple investigation, leaving a shallow tray of water outside overnight to observe what might happen. They shared their ideas and made predictions, with some children suggesting that the ice would melt quicker if they held it in their hands. Through talking, observing and exploring, the children developed their understanding of the weather and temperature. They then worked together to paint their ideas about the different seasons, showing how the weather changes throughout the year! Such little superstars!
