Our Reception Parent Café this term was all about maths - specifically the wonderful world of patterns! We transformed every area of our classroom into a pattern-themed space, helping children and parents see just how many patterns appear in everyday life.

Throughout the café, families explored a range of patterns, including AB, ABC, and AABB repeating patterns. The children loved identifying, copying, continuing, and even creating their own patterns using colours, shapes, objects, and movements.

It was a fantastic opportunity for them to show off their growing confidence in maths!
