School Meals

Meals provided by the school

We work with the school meals service to ensure a healthy menu is provided. The menu is sent to all parents every term. Here is a link to our caterer’s website www.norsecatering.co.uk.

‘We have been awarded with a silver Food for Life award for our lunch service at Drake Primary School and Little Pirates Nursery. This catering accreditation recognises our partnership with Norse Catering in sourcing local ingredients, providing healthy options and cooking meals from scratch. It also highlights that over 5% of our ingredients are organic.  This award also recognises our commitment in creating a school food culture which families and the wider community can get involved with and greatly benefit from.’

From 1st April 2024 school meals will be £2.58 per meal. Please use the Pupil Asset Parent Portal to order and pay for your child's school meals. From now until 31st March the price remains at £2.35 per meal.

From September 2021 ALL children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be having the school provided meal. There will be no need to bring in a lunch from home.
