Holiday Clubs

We aim to provide a safe, happy environment for all.

Little Pirates provide a holiday club for children aged 3-11 years. We give children the freedom to choose their own activities and promote free flow between inside and outside. We ensure that all activities are planned to meet the needs and interest of each individual child. We adapt activities when necessary to challenge and engage all the children. Each week’s activities are planned around themes. We plan themes around seasonal events and celebrations, and the interests of the children.

Here are some examples of recent themes:

Messy Play week Pirates week Sports
(looking at sporting events World Cup, Olympics, Common Wealth Games etc.)
Cooking week
Craft week Animals and Bugs Music week Celebrations
Christmas
Chinese New Year
Halloween

As part of these themes we like to get relevant visitors into the holiday club. Recently we have had visits from:

Library Staff Tescos Staff Banham Zoo Staff and Bugs A Samba Drummer

During the school holidays we have access to the main school building and this helps us to offer a wide range of activities.

Further information, children’s work and weekly planning is displayed in the main corridor at Little Pirates and the planning will also be available in the Crew room.

Parents can choose to provide a packed lunch or pay for a hot lunch. We will provide healthy snacks and water throughout the day and tea at 4pm.
