Breakfast Club

Fun at Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club session runs from 7:30am – 8:45am

On arrival children are signed in and parents welcomed, there is also an opportunity for parents to speak to staff and any relevant information exchanged.  This will then be written, by staff or parents, in the green communication folder.

Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 8:20am, the children are offered breakfast on arrival and they all sit down as a group to promote social interaction.

The children are encouraged to be independent, as they are offered a selection of cereals, toast etc. to choose from.  If the children decline breakfast, then a variety of activities are provided (please see Breakfast Club routine)

We offer a wide range of breakfast foods (please see breakfast menu)

8:30am – Tidy up – then group games are played while we get ready for school.

At 8:45am the children are walked to their classrooms and a clear exchange is made with the teacher.  The teacher present in the class signs a Little Pirates register.

Communication between Little Pirates and Drake School

Parents are able to pass on information or messages to a member of Little Pirates staff, which needs to be conveyed to a Class Teacher.  The messages will then be written in the green communication folders. Parents can also write in the folders themselves.

This is also available for Class Teacher’s to pass on messages for the parents of those children who attend After School Club.
